Renegade Racing and Fladeboe Automotive Group, both of Irvine, announced their partnership to produce the third annual “Fladeboe I Ran a Marathon in May”, a fitness challenge to complete two half marathons (13.1 miles) within the month of May for a cumulative 26.2 miles, a full marathon distance. Those up to the challenge run (or walk) the first half of the Marathon in May at the Reaching for the Cure Half Marathon on May 5th in Irvine, and the last half of the Marathon in May at the Laguna Hills Half Marathon on Memorial Day, May 27th in Laguna Hills.  Renegade Racing is the race management company for both events.
Race Director Jonathan Pauley is excited to offer the challenge for the third year in a row, “Participants love the Marathon in May challenge. It’s a tremendous accomplishment to finish a half marathon – and definitely a huge achievement to finish two in one month. It’s the best marathon in Orange County with the longest aid station between the first and second half of the race!”

Details: Once participants register for both half marathons, they must express interest in the Marathon in May via email to questions@renegaderaceseries.com.  The challenge is limited to those who RSVP. Participants pick up their Marathon in May special medal at the Laguna Hills Memorial Day Half Marathon expo.
Cost:Â The Marathon in May challenge is FREE, but participants are responsible to pay event registration fees for each event (details found on event websites below).

“Get Fit With Fladeboe”, which kicked off January 5th, is a 5-month weight loss program in the Southern California. Fladeboe invites the community to participate and win prizes, including a $2000 cash grand prize, while losing weight. This open-to-the-public weight loss program is FREE.
