Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Caulfield’s Beverly  Hills :  The Beverly Hills dining destination offers a Valentine’s Day hands-on cocktail class hosted by its expert bartenders, as well as a three-course, prix fixe menu from Chef Stephen Kalt.

WHAT:           Following the recent introduction of acclaimed chef Stephen Kalt, all-new menus, and an interior redesign, the newly revamped Caulfield’s Bar and Dining Room continues to elevate Beverly Hills dining, offering both a hands-on mixology class-dubbed the “Best First Date”-and a Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu this February 14.

Hosted by Los Angeles mixology veteran and Caulfield’s Bar and Dining Room Beverage Director Jeremy Back, alongside Bartender Pierre Dos Santos (previously of the Playboy Club in London), the “Best First Date” cocktail class will take place inside the Thompson Beverly Hill’s private second floor bar, from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 14. The evening begins with guests sampling classic and signature cocktails from the bar menu, alongside passed hors d’ouevres highlighting some of Kalt’s seasonal dishes. Guests will then enjoy a mixology demonstration from the restaurant’s bar team, followed by the opportunity to get behind the bar and create custom cocktails for their sweetheart. Attendance, which must be reserved in advance, is $50 per person, inclusive of unlimited featured cocktails and hors d’ouevres. For those interested in a more traditional Valentine’s Day dining experience, the restaurant is offering a seasonal three-course, prix fixe menu from Chef Kalt ($68 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity). Options include guests’ choice of one small plate, one large plate, and one dessert, with dishes ranging from Artichoke Hearts Tempura with caper-anchovy-black truffle aĂŻoli and Binchotan-Grilled Oysters with champagne butter and American caviar, to Filet of John Dory with Prince Edward Island mussels, Manila clams, shrimp, and salsa verde. Pastry Chef Kriss Harvey rounds out the menu with his signature desserts, including Frozen Chocolate Mousse with blood orange.
