Irish Soda Bread
Soda breads are a hearty, Irish staple. This takes the tradition and substitutes ingredients in order to make it low calorie, heart healthy and high in fiber.
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 1/4 cups buttermilk
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Coat the baking sheet with cooking spray then dust with a little flour
- Whisk whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, baking soda and salt together in a large bowl.
