Irish Soda Bread

Soda breads are a hearty, Irish staple. This takes the tradition and substitutes ingredients in order to make it low calorie, heart healthy and high in fiber.

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 1/4 cups buttermilk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Coat the baking sheet with cooking spray then dust with a little flour
Whisk whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, baking soda and salt together in a large bowl.
Create a hole in the center of dry ingredients and pour the buttermilk
