Sour Cream Dill Sauce
Dill is a versatile herb that is often overlooked. A flavorful addition to chicken, pork, meats, shrimp, and fish dishes. One of my favorite uses of dill is in this Citrus Marinated Salmon recipe that I learned to make in Florence, Italy.
Sour Cream Dill Sauce is made with fresh dill, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, garlic, lemon, and vegetarian mayonnaise. Find vegetarian mayonnaise is most grocery markets or online! Perfect for chicken, pork, and fish. A featured recipe, Grilled Chicken Drumsticks with 5 Sauces, provides links to recipes for 4 additional sauces!
Or, serve Dill Sauce with roasted vegetables on toast points, as shown here. Other recipe ideas include using the sauce as a spread with cheeses, charcuterie. Additional delicious serving suggestions include using as a marinade for various proteins like pork, chicken, shrimp, and grilled portobello mushrooms.
