Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup®

Making its debut on the West Coast in beautiful San Juan Capistrano, The Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup® presents the weeklong equestrian pre-Olympic qualifying event culminating on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2023 held at The Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park.

The event is held In partnership with US Equestrian and the Fédération Equestre Internationale
(FEI)

“We’re thrilled to be bringing the highest caliber of show jumping competition back to
Southern California,” said Stephanie Lightner of Blenheim EquiSports. “It’s a great
opportunity for our West Coast audience to experience top sport – and for competitors
to enjoy all that our facility and the area have to offer.”

As the only qualifier for the series held in the United States, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations
Cup® USA serves as the key qualifying competition for jumping teams to earn points toward the Pan American Games, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final which lead to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park is proud to host the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ USA. This international event – held only once per year – combines a weeklong equestrian competition May 10-14th with a 3-day VIP social event May 12-14th.

The weeklong competition culminates on Mother’s Day, May 14, with the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ USA 2023 Grand Prix Event and a beautiful VIP Sunday Brunch overlooking the Oaks International Grand Prix Field.

Chef Azmin Ghahreman of Sapphire Catering helms the culinary fare presented throughout the weekend. Breakfast and Lunch will be offered on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13. The spectacular VIP Sunday Brunch on Sunday, May 14 is the perfect way to honor this special day.

“With the menu, we embrace California, we embrace the local bakery and the Santa Monica market as much as I can. We have a lot of people from Switzerland, Ireland, all around Mexico, Canada and our own backyard,” shares Chef Azmin. “I have learned the equestrian group is a healthy group. They like to eat protein, a quick bite and go!”
