What a difference a phone conversation makes! I called Chef Pascal to ask him if he would do a cooking demo with me and the Dining Divas California cast members at Giracci Vineyards in Orange County, California. He said, “Oui, Bien sur! (Yes, of course!)”. The next question was from Chef Pascal. “Suzette, will you be a guest on my podcast this Wednesday on OC Talk Radio,” he asked. To which I replied, “I would love to! Oui, Bien sur!”

In our conversation, I reminded him that we had met in 1991. I was living in Los Angeles and my boyfriend at the time had heard of this famous French Chef in Orange County. We drove down to dine at Pascal’s on Bristol St in Newport Beach / Costa Mesa. Chef Pascal came out to greet us. The dinner was spectacular! This was a full near 10 years BEFORE I was The Bikini Chef®. We have been colleagues and friends ever since.
