Classic French Dressing is red wine vinegar, a hint of sugar, lemon, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, garlic, and olive oil. One of the most well-known uses is in the Classic Cobb Salad. Tips and Serving Suggestions:
- This classic recipe is the original vinaigrette version. The creamy versions add mayonnaise, sour cream, or creme fraiche with ketchup and apple cider vinegar.
- Prep dressing ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks
- Use on the Classic Cobb Salad
- Delicious on simple mixed greens with red onion, tomatoes, cucumbers
- This versatile vinaigrette is a tasty add to pasta salads, quinoa salads, and as a marinade for chicken, pork, and fish such as halibut
- Arrange fresh vegetables such as broccoli florets, sliced bell peppers (red, orange, yellow), celery, and radishes and serve French Dressing as a dipping sauce
