Homemade Tomato Paste

Homemade Tomato Paste

Super easy, versatile and delicious… fresh tomatoes are stewed (or simmered) stovetop with fresh garlic and grapeseed oil. Optional add-ins are sea salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, fresh or dried herbs (if dried, let simmer longer), and even a splash or two of Worcestershire sauce or balsamic vinegar!

Use this recipe as a base for Cauliflower Pizza crust, a spread on Avocado Toast, in soups, stews, in pasta dishes, and more! One of my favorite post-workout or breakfast foods is this snack > POST-WORKOUT SNACK

Studies show that the health properties, especially lycopene, of fresh tomatoes are enhanced when they are gently cooked!
