Vanilla Pound Cake with Fresh Berries

Vanilla Pound Cake is made with lemon, applesauce, vanilla bean and non-fat milk to create a slimming dessert served with fresh berries.
Made in a loaf pan, this cake is simple to make and is the perfect base for toppings such as fresh berries with a berry puree.

To make a berry puree, simply take fresh about 2 cups of fresh wild berries or raspberries only, heat on the stovetop in a small or medium saucepan with one tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of water.

Heat over medium heat until berries begin to break up.
