The 2012 Golden Foodie Awards gala will be cascading with refreshing libations that will quench the most discerning palettes of thirst. Throughout the Awards evening, guests will experience samplings from a Patron cocktail fountain and muddle bar, an Ultimat Vodka Bar, signature Ritual beers brewed exclusively for Golden Foodie Awards, wines courtesy of La Crema, Kendall Jackson Grand Reserve, Freemark Abbey and Solletico Prosecco, refreshing Hawaiian Springs Water and DRY Soda, a hot Kean Coffee pour over bar and much more.

The red carpet affair will kick off with over 15 fabulous foodie stations and libations to remember. Guests will indulge on tray passed Patron cocktails and red and white wines by La Crema and Freemark Abbey. Ritual Brewing is pleased to unveil the Golden Foodie Ale created exclusively for the Awards event. This lively, effervescent golden ale was inspired by Orange County’s shimmering coastal sunset and emulates aromas of ripe banana, prickly pear and tropical spices, allowing it to perfectly pair with an array of cuisines. For those looking for a refreshing non-alcoholic drink, DRY Soda, a less sweet, all natural soda made with just four ingredients will be poured.

During the Awards ceremony in the Fairmont Newport Beach ballroom, guests will indulge in a cornucopia of desserts while sipping on sparkling wines compliments of Solletico Prosecco. Kean Coffee will be available to caffeinate and then rehydrate with the sweet taste of Hawaiian Springs Water, one of the worlds finest natural waters, while enjoying the entertainment of the lively Awards show. A petite bottle of Chambord will be placed at each setting forguests to enhance their Prosecco or coffee.

While dancing under the stars at the Awards after party, foodie fans will quench their thirst at the signature Patron Fountains and Muddle Bars. Self-serve cascading fountain will pour bottomless Patron Margarita cocktail. The “Muddle Your Own Mojito Bar” will invite guests to interact with the bartenders to customize their own mojito or fresh fruit muddled concoction. Guests will have the choice of fresh ingredients to choose from and learn to muddle and shake their own cocktail. After making their cocktail guests may go to an engraving station and get a custom engraved Patron muddler as a commemorative souvenir for a donation of $10 that goes to Share Our Strength. The Wine bar will beservicing La Crema and Kendall Jackson Grand Reserve. Top it all off with ascrumptious Patron XO cake pop. Delicious!

The 2012 Golden Foodie Awards is a red carpet culinary awards show celebrating the best in local food, restaurants, and chefs. The Golden Foodie Awards season launched in June. Since then, a calendar of special foodie events at restaurants and venues throughout the county have been leading up to the main Awards night gala on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at The Fairmont Newport Beach.
