Reduce Belly Bloat

Quarantine or no quarantine, belly bloat is real!

Foods (and beverages) that cause belly bloat, include:
*Beer
*Wine
*High sodium beverages such as Bloody Mary mixes or most mixes
*High sodium foods, in general
*Most canned and bottled juices
*Sodas – diet or other
*Canned foods
*Packaged foods such as frozen dinners, snack foods
Fresh vegetables

How to reduce belly bloat:
*Fresh lemon shots every morning
*Citrus, in general, including limes, tangerines
*Blended drinks (not juiced!)
*Fresh mini-bell peppers
*Cucumbers
*Fresh fruits and vegetables such as broccoli, arugula, apples < beware, can make you feel gassy, soooooo…
EXERCISE!

Even though some fresh foods may make you feel gassy, this is short-lived! High fiber foods also release fat from the body and have a high water content, also helping to reduce belly bloat over time. Fresh is best!

*Walking
*Jogging
*Circuit training
*Biking
*Swimming
*Just move!
