The Flip Truck is participating in the Farm to Food Truck Challenge II tomorrow from 11:30am till 1:30pm at the SoCo’s Farmer’s Market in Costa Mesa. Chef Heidi from The Flip Truck wanted to share a few words with everyone about tomorrow’s event:
“Getting ready for tomorrow’s “Farm-To-Food Truck” Challenge #2! My previous Chef/Instructor, Laurent Brazier will be one of the judges, so I’ve got to show him what his student has been up to since graduating LCA…have NO IDEA what the “FALL 5″ mystery ingredients will be, BUT…last challenge, it was all about Farmer’s Market Coffee, Summer Cherries & Rainbow Kale… Kobe Beef Sliders crusted in Pink Peppercorn & French Roast Grind, topped with Grilled Rainbow Chard in a Cherry-Balsamic Reduction. Possible soup this time??? Come FLIP for your favorite Gourmet Slider Truck!”
