Watermelon is low in calories and high in water content making it great for flushing out toxins. Eat up! It’s rich in cancer fighting lycopene, too! Making a simple balsamic glaze from inexpensive vinegar is a great way to add flavor and more metabolism friendly ingredients without breaking the bank!

4 cups watermelon, seedless and cubed
1 cup inexpensive balsamic vinegar

Place balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat. When starting to boil, reduce heat to simmer and simmer about 10 minutes until mixture is reduced by two-thirds. Drizzle over fresh watermelon (or even strawberries!) for a delicious snack or dessert.
