Coconut Eggnog Martini

Coconut Eggnog‘Tis the season to splurge! Okay, I’ll admit, this cocktail recipe is NOT going to help your bikini figure at all, but it is so rich that your tastebuds will be happy with just one. So, if you figure you will forego the three or four glasses of wine you may usually have at a holiday party and replace it with just ONE of these luscious libations, you should break even in the calorie department.

The good news… well, egg yolks have choline which helps the body function, and they have protein. This cocktail uses coconut milk – which is the healthy saturated fat. Alright, I know I am stretching it a bit, but seeing the positives in every situation really is healthy.

We can thank our friends at Tommy Bahama for this holiday cocktail. The iconic island lifestyle brand has crafted three new cocktails, in fact, to help you celebrate the holiday season. I’ll post the other recipes soon (which have quite a bit less fat and fewer calories), but here, Tommy Bahama puts a twist on the much-loved eggnog with its Coconut Eggnog Martini that gets its kick with coconut rum and bourbon (and coconut milk and eggs, of course!).

You can celebrate with this festive cocktail and more holiday specialty cocktails at any of the 14 Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar locations across the country or create them at home for your family and friends.
