Fresh cauliflower is cut into 1-inch pieces, tossed with cumin, cardamom, turmeric, celery seed and roasted in the oven for a tasty, easy side dish.

Cauliflower

Cauliflower is anything but boring. A versatile vegetable, cauliflower takes on the flavors paired in the recipe. Here, a combination of spices are used to create a flavorful dish. Serve with lean proteins such as chicken, fish, beef, or pork. Roasted Cauliflower is a terrific alternative to potatoes.

Once cauliflower is cooked, puree in a blender for a delicious soup… see recipe here > Roasted Cauliflower Soup

RECIPE SUGGESTIONS:

  • Switch up the spices… for a spicy cauliflower, add a pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Add red pepper flakes
  • Skip the spices and roast with simple salt and pepper, serve with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon
  • Keep on hand in the refrigerator for a quick, easy, healthy snack
  • Serve with a mixed green salad and lean protein such as Grilled Chicken
