Energizing Snack Mix

The perfect quick “pick me up” snack mix to boost energy and stave off cravings.  A combination of dried fruits, healthy seeds, and raw nuts.  This snack mix provides omega 3 fatty acids (heart healthy, good for glowing skin and hair), natural, non-meat protein, natural sugars, and natural energy from bee pollen.

Coconut acts as an anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and as well, provides healthy fats.

Carry this simple snack mix in a Ziploc bag for an easy snack while traveling on the plane or in the car, on hikes and long bike rides.

Tip: grind the black sesame and flax seeds in a coffee grinder that you designate for spices and seeds. Grinding these seeds helps prevent them from sticking in your teeth!

Snacks
A delicious combination of raw nuts, seeds, dried fruits, and bee pollen

Ingredients

1 cup raw cashews
1 cup raw almonds
1 to 1 1/2 cups low sugar, all natural granola with or without coconut
1/2 cup raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/4 cup ground raw black sesame seeds
1/4 cup ground raw flax seeds
3/4 cup chopped pitted dates
3/4 cup chopped prunes
3/4 cup chopped dried figs
2-3 tablespoons bee pollen
2-3 tablespoons chia seeds

Instructions

Toss all ingredients in a large airtight container and mix well.
Store in a cool, dark place such as the pantry.
