Egg in a Pot
Egg in a Pot can be made by baking or microwaving eggs in an official Ceramic Egg Cooker or in a ramekin (see pictures).
Ceramic Egg Cookers use the simple microwave cooking option. Whereas, ramekin egg dishes are more commonly baked. This recipe teaches how to use the Ceramic Egg Cooker to steam, poach, and fully cook eggs while adding flavor by including your favorite, preferred ingredients. The Egg Cooker may also be used for Onions, Apples, Oatmeal, and more. See suggestions below!

Cooking Options:
-
Ceramic Egg Cooker poached eggs, microwave for about 24 seconds with lid on; let rest for 15 seconds. Microwave again for 20-25 seconds.
-
For “Omelet in a Pot”, dice preferred ingredients and place into the ramekin or egg cooker and microwave for about 45 seconds. THEN, add 2 eggs, stir all the ingredients together. Microwave an additional 45 seconds.
-
For baked omelets, use a medium-size ramekin. Place all ingredients in the ramekin – including the eggs – and bake at 375*F for about 20 minutes or until the whites of the eggs are firm.
